"The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey"
A younger and more reluctant Hobbit, Bilbo Baggins, sets out on an "unexpected journey" to the Lonely Mountain with a spirited group of Dwarves to reclaim their stolen mountain home from a dragon named Smaug.
The films revolve around the story of a hobbit named Bilbo Baggins (Martin Freeman), who lives in the peaceful country of the Shire in the fictional world Middle Earth. He is visited by a notorious wizard named Gandalf (Ian McKellen), who has come to the Shire for Bilbo to ask for a favor. With him Gandalf made a Companion of the thirteen dwarves, whose leader is the dwarf Torin Ekenskölde (Richard Armitage), whose grandfather was the king of dvärgariket Erebor, which was destroyed by a dragon named Smaug (Benedict Cumberbatch) long ago. Gandalf and Torin have together drawn up a plan to travel back to Erebor the Lonely Mountain to defeat Smaug, who now dwells there. Under the plan, they enlist the help of Bilbo to get into Erebor.
Bilbo, Gandalf and the dwarves embarks on a perilous journey that will take them to Midgard eastern countries. During the trip, Bilbo also find a fabled Ring - The One Ring - which causes him to become completely invisible.
